I still love Preacher, can anyone recommend anything as good as this or (if it exists) better?

COMICS RUNS
I always had a huge affection for the Ann Nocenti run on Daredevil. Not sure how it would read now, but back then when I was still in my teens it was bloody ace!
If you like Preacher you should check out some of the other Vertigo stuff, like Hellblazer, 100 Bulletts, Lucifer etc.
Also, check out Hitman. More Garth Ennis with some of the best John McCrea art too.
Other good stuff:
Girls,
Bite Club (and you could get it signed at the show too)
The Boys,
Powers,
Next Wave
Loads of good stuff around at the moment.
Also, check out my website at: www.smallzone.co.uk for some great indy stuff.

Seconded for Hitman - I still find the end of Preacher a little disappointing after everything that came before, but Hitman ends on a perfect note. Ennis' Punisher Max run is probably the best the character will ever get too.
Other great runs:
Transmetropolitan
Alan Moore on Swamp Thing
Bendis' Daredevil
Pretty much any John Wagner Judge Dredd Epic, especially The Day The Law Died
And probably the finest single superhero run of all time (IMHO), Grant Morrison's JLA - Especially if you include JLA Classified 1-3 and Earth 2.
And if you want to ruin your brain, try The Invisibles in a single sitting...

best run
A guilty pleasure is a old tpb of the sleaze brothers i have. As well as some fish police that can still make me laugh.
A must for all collections is of course kingdom come, long halloween, Dark victory, Batman year one, Dark knight returns.
I know they are popular main stream but you only get popular for one reason you are good.
O and alice in suderland can't wait for the big release
