Portfolio Reviews like US version?

Hi there,

Call me stupid or, more generously, naive but I wanted to check if the BICS portfolio review is similar to USA Con versions. Are the reviewers industry people capable of employing if there is any talent there, or is it people with industry experience 'just' there to review the art and give amateurs an idea of how good or (perhaps worded in a more polite way on the day) bad they are? I feel that it is the former rather than the latter but just wanted to check.

As an extension of that...is this one reviewer or several from different companies in the industry.

Thanks for any feedback on this as it will inform my and my friends decision on if we should buy a ticket.

p.s I have emailed James as suggested to pre-book a place (although clearly I have not yet bought a ticket)
